Our Mission
Danville Rotary follows the guiding principles set forth by Rotary International. Rotary seeks to encourage and foster the Ideal of Service through:
Networking to find service opportunities
The utilization of the highest ethical standards in professional interactions
The application of the Ideal of Service in each Rotarian’s personal, business and community life
The world fellowship of business and professional people to advance international understanding, goodwill and peace
We focus our efforts on five Avenues of Service:
Club service – developing a thriving club anchored by strong relationships and active membership
Vocational service – calling on each member to contribute their expertise to the problems and needs of society
Community service – finding ways to improve the quality of life in our community
International service – promoting peace and understanding by sponsoring or volunteering on international projects, seeking partners abroad and more
Youth service – empowering youth and young professionals through leadership development programs
