Men IN Action READ

On Thursday, March 19, 2026, Sheltering Wings and Men IN Action will send more than 450 men into schools across the county to read to students. The selected book focuses on healthy ways to manage anxiety, overcome perfectionism, and cope when things don’t go according to plan.

 

This event helps build a strong foundation of trust, support, and mutual respect for the next generation — and the men in our community play a vital role in making that happen. Registration is $20 and provides a book for each classroom to keep, as well as a t-shirt and a light breakfast for the reader. We invite you to sign up today and help us fill every classroom.
