Topic: Retaining Staff in a Flouring Company Culture
Speaker: Amy Comer Elliott
As a manager and current owner and Vice President of The Abstract & Title Companies, Inc., Amy Comer Elliott has 25 years experience in operating a business and co-managing a staff of approximately 50 team members. Amy earned her Bachelor of Arts at DePauw University in 1991 and her law degree from The Capital University Law School in 1994, neither of which qualified her as an expert in Human Resources and staff management as is common with small business owners whose education and training does not prepare them for management. Through experience and implementing the advice of management experts and HR experts, Abstract & Title is known for attracting and maintaining talent with half of their staff having each been with the company for over ten years. All small business owners know the loss of productivity as a result of staff turnover and training. Amy will share with you the keys to the success of Abstract & Title in retaining staff in a flourishing company culture.
